Job summary

GECS is seeking a K-4 Teacher who will oversee a classroom within the Academy to ensure a safe, well-structured learning environment. The role emphasizes planning and following up on academic and behavioral progress for all students.

The teacher will report to the Dean of Academics and collaborate with various departments to implement instructional strategies that meet the needs of the whole child and ensure timely reporting of student performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Certificated teachers required by state board rules.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Two letters of recommendation.
• Satisfactory performance ratings in instruction and classroom management.
• Criminal records clearance.
• Successful completion of oral and written interview.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom to provide a safe, well-managed, structured learning environment.
• Plan and follow up on academic and behavioral progress.
