Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administering objective tests and work assignments.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Conduct instructional exercises with individuals or small groups.
• Supervise scholars throughout the day including lunchroom, bus, and playground.
• Report special needs or problems of scholars to the teacher.
