Job summary

Century Park Associates in Idaho is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant/Care Aide for the Day Shift. You will deliver quality assisted living services, help residents with daily living activities, and report to the Resident Care Director.

Strong compassion and patience are essential to support residents’ independence with dignity. Responsibilities include assisting with meals, mobility, hygiene, and activities; reading logs; and ensuring a safe, clean living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in senior services preferred.
• State Trained Nursing Assistant certification if required by state.
• CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during Orientation; must stay current.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Read 24 hour log at the start of shift.
• Conduct routine rounds and verify residents' care needs.
• Assist with clothing choices and maintain cleanliness.
• Support incontinent residents with dignity and hygiene.
• Aid ambulation with walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Help during meals and encourage participation in activities.
• Shampoo hair weekly if not done by beautician.
• Make beds and perform light housekeeping in apartments and common areas.
• Prepare residents for activities, meals, appointments, etc.
• Deliver meals and assist with setup or feeding as needed.
• Verify meal attendance and follow up as required.
• Report changes in conditions to Nurse/Director.
• Welcome new residents and assist with adjustment.
• Assist with packing/unpacking and inventory belongings.
• Maintain infection control compliance.
