Century Park Associates is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/Care Aide to provide quality assisted living support. The role covers mornings, evenings, and night shifts with differential pay for evenings and night shifts.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. The position reports to the Resident Care Director and focuses on maximizing residents' independence while adhering to all regulations and Century Park standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State SNAs certification may be required by state.
• CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Read 24-hour log at start of shift and monitor care needs.
• Conduct routine rounds and check on residents’ care needs.
• Assist with clothing choices and ensure cleanliness and dryness.
• Support incontinent residents with hygiene and clothing management.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility aids.
• Assist with meals and dining room duties.
• Encourage participation in activities.
• Shampoo hair weekly unless done by beautician.
• Make beds and perform light housekeeping in resident areas.
• Prepare residents for activities, meals, and appointments.
• Deliver meals and assist with setup or feeding as needed.
• Verify resident presence at meals and follow up as required.
• Report changes in condition to nursing or management.
• Welcome new residents and assist with community adjustment.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

State Trained Nursing Assistant certification

CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification

CPR certification
