Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services is seeking a Scientist II to lead kinase screening and profiling on the laboratory floor. You will optimize workflow, allocate resources, and adapt priorities to meet urgent deliverables while supporting a collaborative research team.

Ideal candidates hold a Biology degree with several years of lab leadership experience, adept at data analysis using Spotfire/PRISM, and comfortable with HTS instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Biology degree with 5+ years or Master’s with 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to read SOPs and technical reports.
• Ability to analyze data and interpret results.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Lab experience and proficiency with equipment and software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead kinase screening and profiling group execution and improvements.
• Coordinate staffing and resources under Group Leader oversight.
• Operate HTS instruments (ECHO, V-prep, multidrop).
• Perform transfections, expression, and lysate prep from mammalian/bacterial cultures.
• Analyze screening data with regression and visualization tools.
• Prepare reagents, QC, and related calculations.
• Support R&D and Safety Pharmacology as needed.
• Develop and optimize SOPs as part of continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe, efficient lab operations per EHS requirements.
