Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services seeks an Associate Scientist to support drug discovery through high-throughput screening. You will execute 384-well biochemical assays and operate precision liquid handling equipment to study interactions between small molecules and target proteins.

The role requires a BS in biological/physical sciences, up to 2 years of lab experience, and the ability to read SOPs, interpret data, and work collaboratively within a team in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• B.S. in biological or physical sciences.
• 0–2 years of relevant lab experience.
• Ability to read SOPs and technical reports.
• Ability to multitask and troubleshoot in a lab setting.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute 384-well microplate biochemical assays.
• Operate liquid handling equipment to support high-throughput screening.
• Prepare reagents and perform QC checks.
• Maintain consumables and follow SOPs.
• Participate in group meetings and share results.
• Ensure safety and adhere to EHS requirements.
• Deliver timely results to meet client needs.
