Job summary

Quva Pharma is seeking a Director of Quality Control Lab to lead day-to-day operations across QC testing, ensure cGMP compliance, and drive continuous improvement at multiple production sites. Role emphasizes staff development, SOPs, and test method transfer in a regulated environment.

The position requires a strong background in analytical chemistry and microbiology, with a track record in pharma manufacturing, plus management experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology or related field with significant experience.
• Analytical methods development and validation experience in pharma.
• Ten years in analytical chemical/microbiology labs with five years of management.
• Experience with parenteral product manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of QC labs supporting all Quva production sites.
• Develop and implement short and long‑term department goals.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and safety in the labs.
• Provide leadership in staff training and performance evaluations.
• Prepare SOPs and test method transfer protocols.
• Manage department budget and cross‑functional relationships.
• Support investigations and write investigative reports.
