Job summary

Veranova is seeking a Kilo Chemist II to support API manufacturing on-site at our Devens, MA facility, following cGMP standards. The role reports to a Production Supervisor and operates on a rotating 1st/2nd/3rd shift schedule.

Ideal candidates hold an AA or BS in a technical field with 3–7 years of related experience, and can lift up to 50 lbs. You will work with batch records, equipment readiness, safety programs, and regulatory requirements to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–7 years of experience with a technical degree or 5–7 years with an AA/technical background.
• Must be open to working rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform required manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Completes batch records in accordance with FDA and cGMP guidelines.
• Applies cGMP standards, provides process support, and ensures housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Maintains safety equipment, PPE use, and compliance with DEA regulations.
• Characterizes and disposes waste per regulations and supports EH&S programs.
• Ensures equipment readiness and participates in Emergency Response activities.
• Collaborates with QA/QC for in-process sample timing and prioritization.
• Operates production equipment with controlled parameters and performs problem solving to maintain production flow.
