Job summary

Spectrum Control in Centre County, PA is hiring a Production Operator to work on kiln operations and related duties. The role involves inspecting products, following specifications, and contributing to a clean, safe production area.

The position supports a 4-day, 10-hour schedule with a 3-day weekend. Benefits start on day 1, and PTO is provided. Training and team collaboration are emphasized on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• Experience Years: 1 or more years.
• Experience Type: Production/Manufacturing.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading and comprehension.
• Ability to tolerate work with or around ceramics, solvents, dust, and liquid & solid metals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for flaws through a microscope and report flaws to area lead or supervisor.
• Review and follow work specifications.
• Set up standard daily work.
• Track and input work order moves and product output into production move system.
• Work with or around ceramics, solvents, dust, and liquid & solid metals.
• Train and work where assigned in pre- and post-kiln operations.
• Work effectively on individual job assignments or as a member of a team.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties or flex to other areas as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the training of new operators when needed.
