Job summary

Spectrum Control is hiring a Production Operator to operate across kiln and post-kiln processes as directed by the area supervisor. The role involves following precise work instructions, inspecting products, and maintaining safety on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in production/manufacturing, with basic reading skills and the ability to work with ceramics and solvents. This position offers a 4‑day/10‑hour schedule with a 3‑day weekend and benefits beginning on day

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in production/manufacturing.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for flaws using a microscope and report to lead or supervisor.
• Review and follow work specifications.
• Set up standard daily work.
• Track and input work orders and product output into production system.
• Work with ceramics, solvents, dust, and metals.
• Assist in pre- and post-kiln operations.
• Work individually or as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
