Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Kiln Operator for the D shift (nights). You will monitor tile movement through the kiln firing process to ensure production efficiency on the ceramic tile line.

Responsibilities include hourly kiln temperature recording, following ISO procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and promptly reporting issues to supervision. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Ability to read and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Monitors movement of tile through the kiln firing process.
• Records temperature of kiln every hour during shift.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and control plan.
• Reports issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factors.
• Maintains a clean, safe and organized workstation.
