AHF Products is seeking a Kiln Operator for the 2nd shift in Crossville, TN. The role focuses on running kilns, operating LGV systems, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

The candidate must be 18+, be able to work holidays and overtime, and pass pre-employment screenings. This on-site position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and consistent, high-quality tile production.

Responsibilities

• Run kilns from start up to shut down.
• Operate LGV computer system.
• Operate LGVs manually.
• Communicate with and work closely with other departments to supply products and address quality issues.
• Produce engobe, clean engobe trays and empty tubs.
• Recognize quality issues with tile.
• Follow processes and SOPs.
• Monitor control panel and flame adjustments.
• Handle loaders and unloaders in Kiln and Glaze departments.
• Complete kiln changeovers in a timely manner.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace and adhere to safety guidelines.
