Job summary

AHF Products in Crossville, TN seeks an S&S Operator on the 3rd shift to ensure tile sizes and bevels are correct, operate line equipment, and support maintenance when needed. You will hand load/box tile, drive tow motor and forklift, and help with line changes and kaizen on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees.
• Must be available to work overtime as necessary and other shifts as necessary.
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tile sizes and bevels are correct.
• Check line stones, bevels, 5s and TPMs for size/square/bevel.
• Maintain the line and fix problems, contacting Maintenance if needed.
• Assist and run other lines as needed.
• Hand load and hand box tile.
• Operate and move pallets and transport full pallets to shipping area.
• Perform line repairs and replace worn parts.
• Change programs and adjust blades when tile size changes.
• Sort pallets and manage scrap vs store routes.
