Job summary

AHF Products is seeking a Lab Operator for the Crossville, TN area to support lab production functions and assist other roles in the department. The role requires on-site attendance, adherence to scheduled hours, and active involvement in safety and Kaizen initiatives.

The candidate will weigh materials, manage milling outputs, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate documentation while collaborating with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth production flows.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees, management, and vendors.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must be available to work overtime as necessary and work other shifts as necessary, may be called in during abnormal hours.
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Weigh out and load materials into processing equipment and take a sample to lab testing.
• Discharge milled material into correct containers and manage holding tanks.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move materials and load trailers as needed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and report issues to the next shift.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in continuous improvement Kaizen.
