Job summary

Materion is seeking a Machine Operator I at our Tucson, AZ facility. You will perform all processing steps for the Kiln work cell, ensure product quality, and adhere to processing standards while assisting and guiding other department members.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience with work cell machines. You will work with safety protocols, use measuring tools, and help with continuous improvements; SAP training for production will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience with work cell-specific machines and equipment.
• Knowledge of product quality concepts and ISO principles.
• Ability to use inspection and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Comply with PPE and safety requirements.
• Operate kiln-related equipment and test parts.
• Work with QC/QA to improve output and quality.
• Plan and schedule SAP-based production training for staff.
