Join Kiewit Nuclear Solutions as a Structural Designer, supporting projects across multiple locations including Lenexa, KS, Aiken, SC, and Oak Ridge, TN. We are seeking experienced professionals to contribute to our innovative team focused on safe, cost-effective, and client-oriented nuclear engineering designs.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with team members to review project information and ensure design accuracy.
  2. Check designs for safety, operability, and maintenance requirements.
  3. Develop BIM models for foundations and steel structures, leveraging software like Tekla or Revit.
  4. Mentor junior team members and develop departmental standards.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to resolve design issues.
Qualifications
  1. Vocational training in CAD with 5+ years of structural design experience using Tekla or Revit.
  2. Ability to interpret multi-discipline engineering documents.
  3. Leadership skills and effective communication abilities.
  4. Proficiency in Navisworks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; DOE and commercial nuclear experience preferred.
  6. Ability to pass background checks and represent Kiewit professionally.
