Job summary

Old Colony YMCA Plymouth Branch is hiring for KidZone, our onsite child care for members while they work out. Shifts are Mon–Fri 8:00am–12:00pm, Mon–Thu 4:45pm–7:15pm, and Sat/Sun 8:00am–12:00pm.

Provide friendly service, supervise children from 6 weeks to 8 years in a safe environment, and help connect families to programs and events. Minimum age 16; CPR/First Aid required within 30 days of hire; physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Must enjoy working with children.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certifications—must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly courteous service to all members and clients of the Old Colony Y.
• Supervise children ages 6 weeks to 8 years in a healthy, safe environment.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and follow sign-in/out policies.
• Ensure KidZone aligns with monthly themes and association projects.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings related to job.
