Job summary

KidStrong Sioux Falls is looking for an energetic KidStrong Coach to deliver our dynamic curriculum to children from crawling to 11 years old at the Sioux Falls center.

You will coach classes, master the curriculum, pursue Coach Certification, engage families, ensure on-time classes, and participate in center events. CPR certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children (ages 6 months–11 years)
• Experience coaching kids in a class or program
• Excellent verbal and written communication with families
• High energy, engaging presence, and positive reinforcement
• Willingness to mentor other coaches and share best practices
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, dynamic classes that boost brainpower, physical skills, and character for kids crawling to 11 years old
• Master KidStrong curriculum and communicate it with flair
• Achieve Coach Certification and keep leveling up your skills
• Create positive interactions with families before, during, and after class
• Ensure classes run smoothly and on time
• Assist in center events and maintain a clean, welcoming space
• Mentor fellow coaches with strong communication and teamwork

Job Title: KidStrong Coach

Center: Sioux Falls

Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager

Compensation Range: $19-22/hour

• Coach Like a Pro: Deliver fun, dynamic classes that boost brainpower, physical skills, and character for kids crawling to 11 years old
• Master of Curriculum: Understand the magic behind KidStrong's programs and communicate it with flair.
• Be the Best: Achieve Coach Certification and keep leveling up your skills like you're in a video game with our stellar training programs
• Family Friend: Create positive interactions with families before, during, and after class - you’re the reason they love KidStrong!
• Class Commander: Ensure classes run smoothly and on time, every time.
• Family Connector: Keep families engaged and excited about KidStrong. Think of yourself as the social glue that keeps everyone together.
• Master of all: Coach class, camps, movie nights, and anything else your center leaders might ask for.

Center Operations:

• Event Enthusiast: Assist in community events and center initiatives. Party planner meets motivational speaker.
• Clean & Green: Participate in the upkeep and maintenance of our awesome center.
