Job summary

KidStrong in Madison, AL is seeking energetic individuals for a part-time coaching role to lead developmentally-appropriate classes for children up to 11 years old. You’ll coach kids, explain our curriculum to parents, and help families grow together in a fun, scientific program.

The schedule includes Weekdays mornings 8:30– Noon and evenings, plus weekend sessions, with opportunities for camps and events. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 17 or older
• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable
• Prior experience coaching students within KidStrong age range preferred
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who gets the job done
• Enjoys being in the spotlight if this role is for you

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy classes focused on developing children's cognitive, physical, and character skills.
• Build strong relationships with parents by confidently explaining the 'why' behind what we teach.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate learning environment.
• Assist with class scheduling, camps, birthday parties, and special events as needed
