Job summary

KidStrong is seeking individuals with an athletic or coaching background to coach children aged walking through 11 years old, focusing on cognitive, physical and character development through weekly curriculum.

You will also speak with parents about the rationale behind the curriculum and how activities support growth. Additional hours may be available for private parties and camps.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 or older.
• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Experience coaching students within the KidStrong age range preferred.
• Experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who just gets a job done.

WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?

KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids. We do this in weekly, 45 minute developmentally-appropriate classes. Each class includes unique science-based fitness games led by highly trained, kid-focused coaches.

ROLE & SCHEDULE

We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking - 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum.

Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party and camp coaching hours.

Current Shift Openings

Candidate must be available or open to work some or all of the following shifts to be considered:

• Weekday evenings: 3:45pm-7:30pm
• Saturday: 8:45am-1:30pm, 3:30-5:30pm (as needed for parties), 5:30pm-7:30pm (as needed for parties)
• Sunday: 8:45am-1:15

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

KidStrong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.
