A local kids coaching franchise in Denham Springs is looking for a Coach to lead classes focused on cognitive, physical, and character development for children aged walking to 11 years. Candidates should have a passion for working with kids and coaching experience is preferred. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity for advancement.

Overview

KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids. We do this in weekly, 45 minute developmentally-appropriate classes. Each class includes unique science-based fitness games led by highly trained, kid-focused coaches.

Role & Schedule

We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking - 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. Our camps run weekdays 9am - 2:30p when local schools are out for holidays and staff development days.

Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private parties and class coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
• Prior experience coaching camps with students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done
