Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking an After School Yoga Instructor to lead yoga sessions for elementary students across Bay Area schools. The role emphasizes a fun, supportive environment where children can learn mindfulness and physical activity after school.

Classes run 1–1.5 hours, typically 1–5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Requires local presence or valid US work eligibility; transportation to multiple sites is needed. Training sessions may be unpaid but help familiarize the program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Teaching or performing experience in yoga is a plus but not required.
• Enjoy working with children and strong classroom management skills.
• Flexible, reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Energize and manage classes of 8-16 students aged 5-10.
• Teach yoga using provided lesson plans to keep kids engaged.
• Attend a maximum of two-day unpaid training/shadowing session.
• Transport and set up yoga equipment for each class.
• Take attendance and sign-in/out procedures; communicate with parents and staff.
• Capture progress with photos of kids in action during sessions.
