Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking an After School Yoga Instructor to lead engaging yoga sessions for K-5 students across Bay Area schools. You will create a fun, supportive environment that helps kids learn, express themselves, and thrive in movement.

Candidates should be at least 19, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and enjoy working with children. Flexible schedule and reliable transportation are important as you travel between campuses and manage 1–1.5 hour classes after school.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teaching or performing experience in yoga is preferred but not required.
• Enjoy working with children and strong classroom management.
• Flexible, reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation across Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Lead yoga classes for 8–16 students aged 5–10.
• Follow provided lesson plans to keep kids engaged.
• Attend up to two-day unpaid training/shadowing sessions.
• Transport and set up yoga equipment for each class.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.
