Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking an enthusiastic Yoga Instructor to lead age-appropriate sessions for children 4–18 in our after-school programs. The role focuses on mindfulness, breathing techniques, and movement to support physical and emotional well-being.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years yoga teaching experience, 2+ years with children, and strong communication with families. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with children (tutoring, camp, or youth activities).
• Yoga teaching or group fitness instructor experience (1–5 years).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; teaching certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and lead age-appropriate yoga instruction.
• Provide a safe, calming environment and be a positive role model.
• Plan daily yoga sessions for ages 4–18 with varying abilities.
• Teach yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness.
• Collaborate with other specialists and school staff for daily duties.
