Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking a part-time youth coach for sessions held at multiple Bay Area elementary schools, typically 1 hour per class, 1–5 hours weekly. Compensation ranges from $50 to $65 per session, and all equipment is provided.

Training is required before starting, with a focus on creating a fun, energetic environment for children aged 5–10. Applicants should reside locally, be available for in-person work, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual; must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students aged 5–10 using provided lesson plans (1 class per day).
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Take attendance and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture class photos for documentation.
