Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc in the Bay Area is seeking a part-time youth coach to lead after-school classes at local elementary schools. Sessions run Monday–Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, usually one hour per class with a possible extra 30 minutes of pre-care.

Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session and equipment is provided. Training/shadowing is required; coaches must have reliable transportation and complete a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.

Qualifications

Must be 19+ years old at application.
Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
Experience coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Responsibilities

Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
Equipment provided by the company; coach should have reliable transportation.
Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
Capture a few class photos for documentation.
