Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through activities such as arts and crafts, team games and gym activities, while incorporating basic nutrition education for ages 3–13 in a safe, enjoyable setting.

You will lead groups up to 10 children, keep spaces organized and safe, promote monthly events to boost participation, manage supplies within budget, and work evenings or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience (if specified)
• First Aid within 60 days of hire
• CPR/AED for Infant/Child and Adult within 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and use hands and arms; climb ladders
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including arts, crafts, singing, sports, and games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a positive and outgoing attitude and serves as a role model
• Maintains courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism toward customers
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of activity spaces and programming
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures supplies and snacks are used according to department budget

Job description

Position Summary

The Kids Events Team Member leads children through a variety of activities including rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, gym games and more. They i ncorporate nutrition education with themed activities providing a high level of safety and fun for children from ages three to thirteen years.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
