Emler Swim School in Houston offers a role as a Swim Instructor, teaching life-saving water safety skills while making learning fun for kids. You’ll train with mentors, lead weekly lessons, and build trust with families as you help students progress with confidence.

Set evenings and weekends on a flexible, part-time schedule; no prior teaching required—paid training helps you start strong and grow with the team across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with strong communication.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet; teaching or swim experience is a plus, with paid training.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our proven swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Getting your steps in; active on your feet and in the pool.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years; each age group brings unique energy.
