Job summary

Big Blue Swim School is seeking a Swim Instructor in Watchung, NJ. No swim experience is required; paid training is provided. The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with opportunities to grow within a fun, energetic team.

Post-training pay ranges from $17–$19 per hour, with weekend shifts up to $21 per hour. Full-time staff receive health insurance, career growth paths, and front-desk dry-hour duties.

Qualifications

• No swim experience required; positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must enjoy working with kids and have high energy.
• Comfortable in water for at least 25 hours/week.
• Availability to work evenings (3pm–9pm) and at least one weekend day (7:30am–5pm).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stay active on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children in the pool.
• Assist with front desk duties during dry hours.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment.
