Job summary

Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools in Frisco, TX is hiring a part-time swim instructor to teach life-saving water safety while making learning fun for kids.

You’ll train with an experienced mentor, lead weekly lessons, and build positive relationships with students and parents. Safety is the top priority, and you’ll stay active on your feet in and around the pool. This role also offers student-friendly hours, paid training, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership within the team.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety as a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Getting your steps in in an active, on-your-feet (and in-the-pool) role.
• Teaching classes for kids age 6 months to 12 years.
