Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym is hiring a swim instructor to teach life-saving water safety and foster a fun, supportive learning environment for children. You will be a key part of a team that helps kids thrive, stay safe and enjoy the pool experience.

You will train with mentors, teach lessons, and build strong relationships with families. The role requires energy, reliability, and weekend/evening availability, with paid training provided to develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Train with an experienced mentor to learn swim instruction methods.
• Teach weekly lessons and celebrate student milestones.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Keep safety as a top priority around the pool.
• Be active on your feet and in the water during classes.
• Teach kids ages 6 months to 12 years; adapt to each age group.
