Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in New York seeks a dedicated Academy/Child Center Supervisor to ensure safe, engaging programs for young members and a seamless experience for families.

You will lead the Kids team, coordinate events, handle onboarding, payroll, and training, and partner with the Kids Manager to deliver exceptional programming. The role emphasizes strong customer service, team leadership, and the ability to manage multiple activities across the academy while upholding Life Time’s standards and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience teaching or working in a children’s program.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of Kids On-Demand Certifications before 1st day of work.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment for Members and Guests.
• Promotes and assists in events/programming, driving participation and revenue.
• Manages Academy/Child Center payroll within budget and advises Kids Manager as needed.
• Coaches and supports Kids team members; provides ongoing training and onboarding.
• Performs casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members.
• Manages inventory and orders supplies for the Academy/Child Center and events.
