Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a candidate to oversee the Academy/Child Center operations, ensuring safety, engagement and top-notch customer service for Members and Team Members. You will partner with the Kids Manager to deliver exceptional experiences for junior members during kid programming and events.

The role requires leadership in staffing, training, and event coordination, with a focus on high-quality service and program success within a busy fitness and wellness environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching or work experience in a children's program.
• Minimum 2 years of day care experience as a lead teacher or two summers of camp with increasing responsibility.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
• Assist Kids Manager with events/programming and drive participation and revenue.
• Manage Academy/Child Center payroll within budget and advise Kids Manager as needed.
• Support Kids team members with training, feedback, and coaching.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and casting of kids team members.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, toys, and equipment for the Center and events.
