Dance Precisions, Inc. in Anaheim, CA, seeks a caring Little Dancin' Shoes Teacher to guide 2–5 year olds through structured dance classes across Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Tumbling.
You’ll collaborate with the Little Dancin' Shoes Director to align curriculum and progression, ensuring a warm, engaging learning atmosphere. You’ll deliver age-appropriate feedback, plan classes with warm-ups and skill-building, and coordinate with front desk staff on communications.
Since 1987, Dance Precisions has been Orange County's premier destination for dance education. Now in our 38th season, we serve dancers ages 2–18 across a full spectrum of training — from our Little Dancin' Shoes program for our youngest movers, to recreational Academy classes, Performance Teams, and championship-winning Competition Teams.
Our 20,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim Hills features six spacious studios with professional‑grade sprung floors, and we offer classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, K‑Pop, and Tumbling. Our alumni have gone on to perform on Broadway, in film and television, and on tour with artists like Beyoncé, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift.
We believe time spent in the studio shapes more than dancers: it develops confident, creative, and capable young people. Our research‑backed curriculum integrates technique, artistry, injury‑prevention conditioning, and leadership development.
We take quality seriously. In a crowded industry, it's easy to find a studio that teaches choreography; it's harder to find one that teaches dance. We're technique‑first, we build fundamentals the right way, even when it's less flashy — because that's what gives our dancers the range to succeed anywhere they go next, whether that's a college program, a Broadway stage, or a world tour. We hire experienced professionals who can deliver real, structured training at every level, and we hold ourselves and our students to the standards we set.
We're equally serious about the experience we provide. Our goal is the best customer experience in the industry. That means a studio that's run professionally: accurate schedules, clear and consistent communication, and a facility (lobby, studios, café, front desk) that reflects the care we ask our dancers to bring to their work.
Our team reflects the same standards. Faculty lift each other up. We expect excellence and celebrate it when we see it. We invest in our people's growth, and many of our staff and families have been with us for years, some for decades. If you're the kind of person who takes pride in doing the work well and wants to be around others who do the same, you'll fit in here.
Our Little Dancin' Shoes program is where most of our families first fall in love with dance. Serving ages 2 through 5, the program introduces movement, music, and structure through Twinkle Toes (jazz), Happy Feet (tap and jazz combo), Boppin' Shoes (hip hop), Twirl & Tumble (ballet), and Tumbling. The Kids Program Teacher is responsible for delivering warm, well‑paced classes across this curriculum that build foundational skills, age‑appropriate confidence, and a lasting love of dance.
A typical week includes a mix of these classes across multiple weekdays and possibly Saturdays. You'll work closely with the Little Dancin' Shoes Director on curriculum and class progression, coordinate with our front desk team on family communication, and partner with the broader faculty during recital season. What makes this role distinctive is the chance to be the very first dance teacher many of our students will ever have, setting the tone for their entire dance journey.
This role reports to the Little Dancin' Shoes Director.
Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience.
