Job summary

IKEA Draper is seeking a friendly Children's Activity Area Associate to help create a pleasant, safe play space for visiting children while customers shop. You will register children, supervise play, and maintain a clean, hygienic environment.

In this part-time role (12–20 hours/week) you may also assist in other customer‑experience tasks as needed. The role pays $17.50/hour with benefits and opportunities to grow within the IKEA team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or childcare preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification training provided.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a pleasant and safe environment for visiting children.
• Register children, monitor and entertain them while in the playroom, keep area clean.
• Plan and execute children's activities inside and outside Småland.
• Build empathetic relationships with children and caretakers.
• Follow play facility safety and security policies; assist in other customer‑experience tasks when needed.
