Crossroads Church is seeking a Kids Ministry Coordinator for the Hampstead Campus. This part-time role oversees Sunday readiness, curriculum, and volunteer teams to create a safe, engaging environment for kids in the 252 Elementary Ministry (Pre-K/Kindergarten–5th grade).

You will recruit and equip volunteers, manage classroom logistics, and collaborate with campus staff to align with Crossroads’ mission. The role emphasizes safety, relationship-building, and consistent preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with children’s ministry or volunteer coordination is preferred.
• Background checks and child safety training are required.
• Membership at Crossroads or willingness to become a member is expected.

Responsibilities

• Craft a welcoming Sunday experience by keeping classrooms clean, organized, and stocked.
• Organize and deliver weekly curriculum, activities, and small group discussions.
• Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers; build relational leadership.
• Maintain safety policies and communication to ensure a secure environment for kids.
