Job summary

Angie's Angels Child Development in Fremont, Ohio is seeking a full-time Children's Cook to prepare nutritious meals for children in our childcare center. This role follows a consistent daytime schedule, typically during weekday hours.

You will work independently in the kitchen while adhering to CACFP guidelines, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and assisting with basic food purchasing and inventory to support smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow food safety guidelines and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children daily.
• Follow CACFP standards and guidelines.
• Prepare food in large quantities while maintaining quality and portion control.
• Verify correct portion sizes for age groups.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of food and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Assist with basic food purchasing and inventory.
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
