Job summary

Bright Horizons seeks a Cook to plan and prepare nutritious, family-style meals that support children’s health and learning. You will help create a warm, predictable kitchen routine for children, educators, and staff, while contributing to a team that supports your professional growth.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a food handler certification within 30 days of hire. Prior childcare or high-volume food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare balanced, family‑style meals and snacks following approved menus and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by following sanitation and health procedures.
• Manage food and supply inventory and place orders through approved vendors.
• Collaborate with center staff to support smooth daily meal service.
