La Petite Academy is hiring a Food Specialist to prepare home-style, nutritious meals for enrolled children at our Las Vegas school. You will follow the director's menu, ensure compliance with USDA/licensing standards, and assist in classrooms as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking/food prep for childcare preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to state/local regulations.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meals within school menu and budget.
• Follow daily menu per Director and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
