Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Sugarcreek Township, OH, seeks a Kids Events Team Member to guide children aged 3–13 through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and gym games with a focus on safety and fun.

You will incorporate nutrition education, coordinate monthly events, supervise supplies, and maintain clean, safe programming spaces while delivering high-energy, friendly service to families.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification for child and infant within 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders; work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including arts and crafts, singing, sports, and games while keeping a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive, outgoing attitude and acts as a role model
• Demonstrates courtesy, service, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue
• Manages supplies, snacks and drinks per the department budget

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders
