Job summary

Greater Somerset County YMCA is seeking a high-energy, professional Dance Instructor to choreograph and teach tap, ballet, and hip hop to children from pre-school to elementary ages. This on-site, part-time role offers the chance to work with a supportive YMCA team and contribute to youth development and healthy living.

Responsibilities include leading engaging dance classes, ensuring safety and supervision, and building positive relationships with members and staff.

Qualifications

• Solid background in related area: well-rounded dancer (tap, ballet, lyrical, jazz and hip-hop).
• Must have 2 years of experience teaching Dance with children.
• Ability to provide stimulation, security and supervision is essential.
• Strong human relation skills and ability to build relationships with members, children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Choreograph and teach tap, ballet, hip hop to various ages (pre-school and elementary school).
