Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc in Santa Clara is seeking a part-time youth coach to run after-school classes for ages 5–10. Sessions are held 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, about one hour each, with optional pre-care. You will attend a 2-day training, manage 8–16 students, and coordinate with parents and school staff. Reliable transportation, vaccination, and a short bio upload are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in coaching or related kid-focused sports preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your sports experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment (provided) and ensure reliable transportation for sessions.
• Take attendance, sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
