Job summary

Code Ninjas of Wellesley (Newton) MA is looking for a Coding Instructor to join our team of energetic mentors. You’ll supervise daily coaching and student engagement, helping kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way while building confidence through problem-solving and game-building activities.

You’ll follow the curriculum, create a positive learning atmosphere, and provide feedback to parents after tours. The role thrives on teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 7 and up in mentoring, coaching, or tutoring.
• Experience with the general public.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or child care.
• Able to collaborate with others.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology or able to pick up basic concepts.
• Enjoys fast-paced environments with changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Train through the curriculum and learn it.
• Create a positive and safe environment for growth.
• Work with children to determine skill sets.
• Provide feedback to parents after tours.
• Follow opening and closing duties daily.
• Maintain cleanliness to corporate standards.
• Report progress weekly to Center Assistant Manager.
• Report daily to Center Manager about day’s activities and productivity in dojo.
