The KidStrong Childrens Coach - Role and Schedule Details:

We are looking for a coach with athletic or coaching experience who ideally has experience coaching kids ages 12 months to 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from the evolving monthly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum.

Our classes run typically weekdays, 9 am - 11 am and evenings until 7 pm, and weekends are typically from 8 am through lunch/noon. Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs. Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required!

KidStrong Childrens Coach Responsibilities:

  1. Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old.
  2. Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
  3. Ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum.
  4. Greet students and parents/guardians individually prior to and at the beginning of class.
  5. Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class.
  6. Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.
  7. Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors.
  8. Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.).
  9. Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system.
  10. Complete training through FranConnect as required by the HQ Training and Certification team.
  11. Work in a physically intensive environment, covering multiple miles in a shift and lifting equipment up to 25 pounds.
