Job summary

O2 Fitness in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Child Care / Kids Club Team Member to create a fun, safe space for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years while members use club facilities. You will greet families, verify forms, and supervise daily activities to support our wellness mission.

The role emphasizes safety, age-appropriate engagement, and maintaining a clean club area. Prior childcare experience and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred, with benefits including complimentary gym

Responsibilities

• Greet members in a friendly and professional manner in the Kids Club area.
• Ensure all appropriate forms are completed by parent/guardian.
• Monitor sign-in/out to enforce the 2-hour Kids Club time limit.
• Follow guest procedures for non-members visiting the club.
• Ensure child safety and well-being at all times.
• Organize age-appropriate activities to create a fun, engaging environment.
• Supervise toys and supplies; notify management for repairs or needs.
• Maintain a clean, orderly area and sanitize toys as instructed.
• Wear proper uniform attire while on duty and promote O2 services.
• Perform other duties to support the vision and mission at O2 Fitness.

The Child Care / Kids Club Team Member is responsible for our organizations consistent achievement of the O2 Fitness mission and core values. A Child Care / Kids Club Team Member ensures the success of our company, the success of their department, and the success of themselves by creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for the children of O2 Fitness members and guests ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years.

Responsibilities

• Greet members in a friendly and professional manner upon entering the Kids Club area
• Ascertain that all appropriate forms are completed by parent/guardian
• Monitor the parents to ensure they sign in and out for their children without exceeding the 2-hour Kids Club time limit
• Follow proper guest procedures when non-members visit the club
• Monitor for the safety and well-being of each child
• Organize activities appropriate for the various ages to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
• Supervise the use of toys and supplies and notify management of supply needs and repairs
• Maintains a clean, orderly area, picking up as needed, and sanitizing toys as instructed.
• Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire while on duty
• Promote O2 services
• Other duties as assigned to support the vision and mission at O2 Fitness

Experience

• Current CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications preferred
• Childcare experience is preferred
