Job summary

EōS Fitness is seeking an Assistant Kids Club Manager to lead the Kids Club team and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children from two months to twelve years. This role reports to the Operations Manager and emphasizes strong communication with parents and staff in a fast-paced gym setting.

You will train staff, manage reservations, uphold safety protocols, and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness for members and families.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a supervisory role or similar leadership experience in childcare, daycare, or recreation.
• Knowledge of child development principles, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
• Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication with children, parents, and staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to cover Kids Club hours.
• Detail oriented; organized with good time management and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Commitment to EōS Fitness core values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Kids Club facility, ensuring a safe environment for children aged two months to twelve years; supervise activities and safety protocols.
• Assist with training of the Kids Club Associate team.
• Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during operating hours; monitor child-to-staff ratios.
• Manage reservations and child agreements; communicate with parents and track bookings.
• Collaborate with the Kids Club Manager to align goals and coordinate daily tasks.
• Implement emergency procedures for the Kids Club, including evacuation plans and first aid.
• Develop age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts for Kids Club.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the Kids Club facility.
• Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians; address inquiries professionally.
• Communicate policies and updates to parents, staff, and gym management.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere for members in the Kids Club.
