Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and trustworthy Kids Club Associate to join our dedicated Childcare team. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager and involves communication with children, parents, and staff while ensuring the safety and well‑being of children aged one to twelve years.

Essential Purpose

Lead, coach, and train the Kids Club team to provide a safe, fun, and active environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for children aged two to twelve years.
• Supervise children’s activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage reservations and child agreements, communicating efficiently with parents and tracking bookings.
• Support daily and weekly tasks to ensure efficient team operations.
• Implement emergency procedures for the Kids Club, including evacuation plans and first‑aid protocols.
• Develop appropriate age‑suitable activities, games, and crafts for children in the Kids Club.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the Kids Club facility and throughout the gym, including regular club walks and bathroom checks.
• Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and gym management regarding Kids Club policies, procedures, and updates.
• Foster positive relationships with members and create a welcoming atmosphere in the Kids Club.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or recreational programming.
• Knowledge of child development principles, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
• Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing and enriching environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate Kids Club operating hours.
• Detail‑oriented, systematic, and thorough problem‑solving approach with good time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
• Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports or emails.
• Ability to bend, lift, and handle repetitive tasks that may exceed 40 lbs.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $15 – $16 USD
