Job summary

Laveen Elementary School District is seeking a Manager for the Kids Club Preschool program in Laveen, AZ. This part-time role supports the operation of the Extended Day Program for K-8, coordinating activities and supervising staff.

Responsibilities include scheduling, attendance, billing assistance, and ensuring safety and compliance with district policies. Must have a high school diploma, 21+ years old, fingerprint clearance, and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, with 72 hours of workshop/ coursework in early childhood education or related field
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid fingerprint clearance card
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct before/after school activities for K-8
• Maintain positive relations with children, parents and staff
• Enforce non-punitive behavior standards and promote self-esteem
• Assist with attendance, schedules, daily activities, snacks, and set-up/take-down of center
• Support staff and participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and district policies

Education

High School diploma or equivalent, and related coursework/certifications

CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
