Job summary

Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School's Kids Care program is seeking compassionate Assistant Teachers for the 2026–27 school year to provide before and after-school care in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This part-time, hourly position requires meeting licensing requirements and a commitment to Christian education.

You will supervise students, build relationships through play, help manage attendance, and coordinate with the Kids Care team on daily activities.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Preferred experience working with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain after employment.
• Pass the state-required background check.
• Complete required trainings, if offered the position.
• Be able to sit on the floor with children and move around for long periods of time.

• Provide a safe environment and active supervision for students before and after school hours
