Job summary

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Excellent people skills and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to engage guests of all ages and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Experience planning or participating in events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including children’s birthday parties) within the Michaels store.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products.
• Support store operations and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Assist with event setup, activities, and cleanup to meet brand standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members and manage paperwork as needed.
